We will be spending 5 nights in St Jean de Luz this July - family of four with two teen girls. I would like to "splurge" and eat at a 1 star Michelin restaurant while we are there. Debating between Kaiku for the 38E 3-course lunch menu in SDJL or else Auberge du Cheval Blanc in Bayonne for the 25E 3-course lunch menu. Any views? The menu at Kaiku seems more innovative while the Auberge seems more traditional.
Our other lunches will be at the Les Halles de Biarritz at a food stall, Euskadi in Espelette and at Gastroteka Dononzat in Hondarribia.
