2003 Aurelio Settimo Barolo Rocche - Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Barolo
Very light in color. Nice showing tonight with raspberries, minerals, light spices and earth. Refreshing for a Barolo with a medium finish. Drink now. Decanted 30 minutes. (91 pts.)

2000 Massolino Barolo Parafada - Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Barolo
Nice showing and drinking well right now. Raspberry, spice, coffee and ripe strawberries. Medium finish and modern in style. I don't see this aging further so drink now through 2014. (92 pts.)

2004 Giovanni Manzone Barolo Le Gramolere - Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Barolo
Light in color. Floral, dried herbs, minerals and clay. Not a lot of fruit here but offers some interesting elements and should be aged five plus years. 91-93. (91 pts.)

2004 Giovanni Manzone Barolo Bricat - Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Barolo
Nice showing with good acidity. Red fruits, minerals, spices and a vibrant nose/palate. Medium finish and fresh. Should improve with five years in the cellar. (93 pts.)

2004 Domenico Clerico Barolo Pajana - Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Barolo
Great wine with aging potential. Intense nose of cherry, raspberries, blueberries, spices and earth. Modern in style with a fruit forward edge. Medium to long finish and complex. Really well made. 93-95. (93 pts.)

2004 Domenico Clerico Barolo Ciabot Mentin Ginestra - Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Barolo
A wonderful wine that will show better with some age but a lot going on now. Dark in color with raspberry, blackberries, minerals, spice and leather. Medium to long finish and tannic. Should be drunk from 2015 to 2030. 95+ Decant 3 hours. (95 pts.)

2006 Parusso Barolo Bussia - Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Barolo
Almost all earth components. Little fruit showing now. Tannic with spice, vanilla wood and floral notes. Medium finish. Not a favorite. (88 pts.)
