We just have 2 nights in Barcelona in May. Will be flying in from the States, so the 1st night definitely want to stay close to our hotel, the Majestic. I'm thinking of just eating at Drolma, the restaurant there on night #1 - any input? I've heard very good nuevo-Catalonian food, but no one seems to have mentioned on this board.
My husband loves good food, but is not a super adventurous chowhound, so I am thinking, even if we could get resvs, just not worth it to taxi to El Bulli or another of the restaurants outside of BCE. Anyone want to argue to the contrary & talk me into doing this?
Otherwise, thinking of staying close to town & doing Cal Pep. Would this be better for lunch or dinner? Have also had Txohoa recommended for a traditional Basque meal.
Hounds, any input?
