Bandera/Kerrville eats

Spent a wonderful weekend in Bandera, and have to say I was disappointed in the OST mexican restaurant, that came highly recommended.
The service was slow, I finally had to flag down the bus girl to get the table cleared after the waitress passed by me 3 times and failed to notice that I was a new customer sitting at a dirty table.
They do not serve beer, and their entree's do not come with the usual rice and beans, which really surprised me! They also, do not automatically give you chips and salsa, they ask if you want them.
I ordered the fajita enchiladas, which were good, but nothing to write home about.
I wouldn't go back.
I did find a cute little mom'n'pop shack in Pipe Creek, 9 miles north of Bandera, it's just a little shed type place, with a back patio, where I was allowed to let my dog sit with me.
I had breakfast there, egg & chorizo burritos, they also fixed a sausage one for my dog. lol
Very nice people, very clean.
It's called Tacos and more, only open for breakfast and lunch, on hwy 16 in Pipe Creek.
I also met a friend for lunch in Kerrville, and she suggested Mamacitas right off the main drag. It was very good, service was excellent, and the price was right.
