Who knows about baking Pavlova

I tried making it and it was fabulous, but I could not get the sticky gooey marshmellowy stuff off of the parchment paper. I made them in small individual circles which I wanted to serve with whipped cream and fruit on top, but since they stuck, they turned into a warped mess. Even the ones I was able to get off mostly intact stuck to everything I tried placing them on. I love this dreamy dessert, but need help in how to make them a success.
