Baking a cake 2 days in advance - freeze or not?

Hi! I'm baking Maida Heatter's queen mother cake for passover and because I'm cooking the whole meal by myself, I have to cook the cake today...two days before I serve it. I am planning on making the frosting the day I serve it. I'm not sure if I should freeze the cake or just wrap it and let it sit at room temperature. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
