Thanks to those of you who posted in response to my question about bakeries here in Chicago. I checked out Dinkel's and Swedish Bakery so far, and was pleased with both, especially Swedish Bakery. Had a great cheese danish there and was impressed by their selection and the quality of their cakes, petit fours, etc. Just wish they had coffee and a couple of tables, like Dinkel's, who had good cinnamon buns. Got a piece of the recommended Marzipan cake that I will eat tonight.
