Bad Luck with my ScanPan

I have an 8" scanpan titanium frying pan, and I"m the only person who doesn't love this pan.

I like that I can use high heat and metal utensils without scratching it. I like the plunge into cold water right off the stove they recommend for it.

But it lost its non-stick finish years ago, and I've followed the manufacturer's instructions (basically, boil a solution of dishwashing machine soap) to no avail.

So...what's next? I'm guessing Scanpan won't take it back. I don't think there are any tricks left. Any other brands to look at?
