Bachelorette Dinner

Hey Everyone

Odd question: I'm in charge of pinning down a restaurant for a bachelorette evening. I'm also supposed to nail down an after dinner drinks spot. It should be noted that I'm a male so I'm not really looking for a good place for a bachelorette type evening - but rather just a quality meal.

My friends are staying near Grand Central - so I was thinking something somewhat upscale near Grand Central or perhaps further downtown near Madison Park/Union Square/Gramercy. I've thought about EMP, GT, Union Square Cafe - but I'm just not sure if they are going be willing to throw down $150 on a meal. The last time she visited I took her to Perilla and she said something along those lines would be perfect. Any recs for that area? Is Bar Milano any good? What else is over there? I could even be convinced to do the villages with the right restaurant choice.

As for drinks: Somewhere semi-classy with a low douche rate would be great. The bar choice doesn't have to be geographically limited. Anywhere is fine.
