Bachelor Party Dining and Partying Options!

Hello Chowhound friends,

I'm responsible for planning a bachelor party for 8 ppl the weekend of May 30-June 1, International Beer festival weekend, and would like to mix a little culture and heart with complete debauchery. For the first night, I'd like to do something a little low key, more Montreal in flavor and culture with respect to dining and partying -- we don't want to be complete philistines here. The second night, I'm thinking of splurging a little more and heading to the main "tourist, bachelor party" options on St. Laurent or Crescent.

For you Montrealers out there, if you had to host a party of 8 dudes from New York and LA, and give them a real taste of what the dining and partying scene is like for both nights, where would you take them? This is a very general question, I know, but I'd just like to hear some different options.

I was thinking night 1, maybe a place like Le St. Paul Steakhouse, and then bar-hopping on Crescent (an recommendations would be appreciated). Night 2, maybe Globe or Buonno Notte and then staying around and heading to a place like Tokyo or Cherry. We're all about 30 years old, grad students and young professionals so thinking about financial constraints but not backpackers. We like to dance to 80s/rock/hip hop and house.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. Merci!
