I need some recs for a lunchtime group of coworkers--every thursday we find a different place to meet at--we have offices in downtown and the valley and we are willing to travel--so far we have gone to:

--Ruen Pair (east hollywood): papaya salad with salty crab, noodles with fishball in broth

--Empress pavillion (chinatown): dim sum-steamed ribs in black bean sauce, shrimp with grated ginger, pay dan say yuk jook-$72 for 7 people

--Maeda sushi (studio city)--its an all you can eat place that makes it as you order it---decent cuts of fish--highlights are the softshell crab handroll and ankimo nigiri

--Suehiro (little tokyo)--Grilled sardines with roe, eggplant in miso

--El Criollo (north hollywood)--ropa vieja, oxtail stew (rabo)

--La parrilla (wilshire in midtown)--meal of appetizers: for queso fundido, guacamole and handmade tortillas and beer on the patio

Any info. on finds that you can provide is greatly appreciated. Our parameters are greater LA/east LA to hollywood on the west end and north into the Valley--we have about 1.5 to 2 hours and would like to keep it around 10 greenbacks per person at the most.
