On a recommendation from this board, I went to Boston Chicken last night, at the corner of Utica Avenue and Foster Avenue. It was well worth the trip; the jerk chicken was terrific: spicy, with the flavor deep into the skin & the chicken (as opposed to jerk sauce added as an afterthought). It came with fluffy rice and peas and a couple of sweet plaintains. The one drawback is that the location is really far from a subway and only accessible by a long bus trip or a car (unless you're nearby already, of course) and the block it's on is pretty bleak, with nothing but auto-related businesses on it. But I guess such locations are the stuff of chowhounding finds, right?
