Authentic Chinese

Mike | Aug 16, 2004 05:26 PM

My uncle is coming in town from Taipei and I am supposed to find a place for us to eat.

I took him to Tse Yang, but he hated it ... too "americanized" he said. He did like Peking Duck House, a pick of my cousin, and I think that being in Chinatown has a certain appeal. It's my turn to pick again and I don't want to dissapoint.

I was looking for something more autentic. Do the Zagat-ers have it right with Canton? Or are there other options that this board can help with?

It isn't a money thing. He has hated Chantarelle, and loved a corner noodle shop. And sometimes vice versa.

I'd be greatfully appreciative if anyone can help!
