(Austin) Interesting food near the Doubletree?

I am coming BACK to Austin for a meeting tomorrow, and hope you can tell me of some interesting, inexpensive-to-moderate spots (any type of food) near the Doubletree (35 at 290) so I don't have to eat there!

I thought I would cut across the east side when I come in on 71, and have an early lunch at either Eastside Cafe (I like it a lot) or Hoover's (never been). Other suggestions in that area?

By the way, we didn't eat anyplace too interesting last weekend--we were still too full from what they fed us at our conference (Pok-e-Jo's; the brisket was dry but actually the chicken was excellent) to go out the next morning. Then our friends took us to a place up by Westlake Hills called Maudie's Milagro; they love it, but we thought it was pretty mediocre. Obviously many, many people disagree with us, though.
