So we went for my husband's birthday... and it was fine. The service was excellent - our waitress was very nice. The food was pretty good but, as we mentioned to the waitress, WAY too salty.
The creme de homard, the sauce on the halibut and crab entree, the frogs legs, the braised oxtail... everything was much too salty and only served to mask other flavours.
But it is still one of our favourites.
On another note, we went to Azure (Crowne Plaza downtown) for a quick bite before the Food & Wine show and the Foie Gras club is pretty good - I expected a thin smear of foie gras mousse but it was pretty healthy in terms of quantities and surprisingly well matched in the sandwich...
Just my two cents for anyone contemplating either of these places.
