Ate at he bar in Jacques-Imos

Was over at Jacques-Imos on 77 and columbus. Had the aligator cheese cake. One of the most interesting bar food dishes i have ever had. Certainly should be had by any person who appreciates food. This dish pretty much makes all other comfort food look silly. Also had the duck and sausage gumbo. It tasted like a beef stock with rice and sausage. Certainly good, but how could it follow that cheese cake.
Ended my drinking with a famous 9 dollar bloody marry. Which comes adorned with two shrimp, pickled carrots, string beans, okra, and a towering stalk of celery. It was worth the trip.
