Asian Market on Broadway between Belmont & Addison

Kitty | Nov 22, 200510:23 PM

Recently, there was a post inquiring about this new spot, which opened last week. I went there the other night, and it's really a mini Asian grocery with fresh and frozen foods and dry goods. This is a bit different than what I expected, as I thought this was going to be more of a prepared foods/take out concept.

My husband, who is well versed in his Asian products, said the prices were just slightly higher than those at the markets that we shop at in Vietnamese town/Argyle. My take is that if you just have a few common Asian items that you need and live in the Lakeview area, just stop by this new spot and save yourself the trouble. If you're buying lots of stuff or need something less common, you might need to go to Chinatown or Vietnamese town.
