We generally get take out form this rstaurant located in Maple Tree Place but I decided to take my daughters (14 and 3) out for dinner while my wife is away.
This is the third time or so that I have eaten at the place and must say it enhances their food beyond the takeout experience (which is always at least good to very good dependiing on what is ordered). The ambiance is nice with linens and roomy booths and tables. The service is friendly and well paced. I had the salt and pepper seafood which featured sea scallops and large shrimp in a salty tempura batter that was crispy, light , and not greasy. The dish ws complimented with flash fried jalapeno slices (the pepper component as opposed to cracked black pepper that I was expecting from previous times dining on this dish elsewhere). The girls had an order of spring rolls (fresh, nothing out of the ordinary) a bowl of wonton soup (average) and an order of vegetable lo mein (again, pretty predictable).
Overall, the food was very well prepared and my dish showed some of the potential that exists if one orders less pedestrian dishes. The sushi rolls that were ordered at other tables looked well presented. I would give a 7.75 / 10.
