Aquavit or Agern?

walker42 | Feb 22, 201805:01 PM

Popping in for a couple of days in early March and staying at Rockefeller Center for various reasons other than eating, but it looks like we should be OK meal-wise staying in the area. Thursday night I'm having an intimate dinner for 2 at Gabriel Kreuther, and then 5 people for the other meals. Price is not a concern, but price/perceived value is always a definite concern. I'm limited by the short notice, but Agern and Aquavit both have space for us at the moment. Other options are welcome as well.

Thursday dinner - Gabriel Kreuther
Friday lunch - Marea
Friday dinner - Agern or Aquavit ??
Saturday brunch - Upland? (My preferred spot Sadelle's doesn't have space for 5, I'd love another option!)
Saturday dinner - The Modern
Sunday breakfast before departing - Barney Greengrass, although I love someplace closer that serves a good early breakfast/brunch at 9am. And by good I mean better than Barney's.

Also - any good pastrami in Midtown? And by good I mean . . . you know.

Barney Greengrass,
The Modern,
Gabriel Kreuther,
