Has anyone read this book? Does it look useful?
It has hints for how to prepare when that next hurricane, earthquake, power outage or disaster hits. As the review below says, it isn't for those who lost their home, but if you are stuck at home for a couple of days without power.
It seems geared to having some sort of cooking source like a butane stove. However, this review mentions one thing I had not considered, storing emergency supplies in a water-proof box.
So, any good? There's a few sample recipes on the link below. I'm thinking even if the recipes aren't that great it might inspire ideas on how to eat more delicously with the canned goods and thawing foods in the home when the power goes out.
