McDonald's is closing more stores than it's opening, the first time since 1970. Can't see them returning to profitability any time soon, but they might stem the flow of red ink. Still, there's nothing I've read about any of their turnaround plans (targeting millennials, shaving a couple items off their bloated menu, upscaling burgers, customizing them) that's giving me much confidence in their ability to survive on razor thin margins. Who stands to benefit from McDonald's loss?
