Annual Rave about Coppa

Coppa doesn't need another review but every once in a while, when I return to someplace that amazed me and discover that it still does, I feel I need to say thank you for always being on your game. Other than forgetting that Thursday afternoons is parking hell (street cleaning day) we had a perfect lunch here. Not one note was false: the roasted brussel sprouts with sheep feta knock my socks off, the branzino was sublime, their take on spaghetti carbonara was "lick the plate good" and the pistachio and chocolate tart was innovative and enticing. Service matched: efficient, warm, and all we'd wish for. Wish the room was just a little more upscale: even with the heaters you don't want to be too close to the door in the winter! That said, this place puts out stellar food and doesn't rest on its laurels. Thanks for a memorably good lunch!
