Someone suggested this as a fun place for dinner when I'm in NY next week (specifically Fri., not going to the theater). The menu looks good and very reasonable, got good reviews on Citysearch, but what do people here think? I'm looking for a fun place with a bit of a scene, serving either new American, northern Italian, southwestern or mediterranean (not big on French), with entrees <$32. Doesn't have to be a certain part of town (staying around Broadway/W. 65th) but a cool place nearby for a cocktail before or after is needed. Is Masa or Bolo worth it? Would we be able to get reservations at Babbo or Lupa? I didn't realize Mario had so many places, how are the tapas spots? I've seen lots of people here rag on Blue Hill, not worth it? Any thoughts? If you know Boston, I like Davio's, Sonsie, Green St. Grill, Union. Thanks in advance.
