I'm looking for a fermented rice product (nonalaholic)for cooking. Apparently it is used in vegetarian cooking as a not-fat substitute for cream to provide texture. I checked the St. Lawrence market but no one I talked to had heard of it. Is it japanese? Know any grocery stores that would sell it in Toronto?
