My Mom used to make this and can't remember the details. My guess would be vanilla pudding with almond extract layered with cherry pie filling and topped with toasted sliced almonds. This was all put into a nice wine glass. I did a search and found a recipe that calls for adding cool whip to the pudding. I'm not a cool whip fan, but do you think I need it to lighten the pudding layer? If anyone has an exact recipe, that would be even better.
