I am prepping my bi-annual foodie trip to NYC and want to branch out a little bit from my usual favorites (Union Square, Lupa, Gramercy, Ouest, etc) I was wondering if Alain Ducasse was worth it? And does anyone recommend any of the new restaurants at Time Warner Center at Columbus Circle?
Also, a few weekends ago I was in town and was walking along Central Park South from Columbus Circle to the Oak Bar. Just east of Columbus Circle, in the lobby of one of the apartment buildings that face the park, there was a lovely looking restaurant, I dont remember the name. It was lit beautifully and was at most two blocks from Columbus Circle. Does anyone have any idea what I am talking about?
