Akiba Ichi in Tokyo

The new Akiba Ichi restaurant complex in Akihabara, which opened March 9, looks like it has some interesting chowhoundish destinations. There are shops specializing in: miso soup (made with various kinds of miso), okayu (jook) with numerous types of beans, chazuke (tea over rice), and oyako-don (chicken and egg over rice), as well as the usual tempura, oden, okonomiyaki, ramen, etc. - some 30 restaurants in all. I've been to to Japanese curry shop and it's pretty good, although I didn't take advantage of the free raw egg that you can add to your curry.

Akiba Ichi is on floors 1-3 of the UDX building, one minute north of JR Akihabara West Exit.
