On Broadway avenue in Burlingame there is a Japanese restaurant called Aji Yoshiya. Apparently another one opened in SF around Sutter. There was an ad in the Chinese newspaper sporting some interesting specialities, including kobe beef sukiyaki, other cooked dishes that I can't remember that were modern/fusion like, and fresh sashimi ranging from live uni (I wonder if it includes the spikey outer shell), live lobster, and live abalone.
The only thing that strikes me odd is the advertisment in a Chinese newspaper. Either business needs a boost, or the owners are not Japanese themselves.
Has anyone been to this place and can comment?
