Grandmother and her sister are coming back to NYC for a little 80th birthday celebration.
Some criteria for these two almost-whole-life-long New Yorkers and their family:
* very good food
* "nice" atmosphere, ideally with a classic New York feel
* nothing too "weird"
* cuisine probably needs to be Italian, French, "continental" or "American"
* at least some vegetarian options
Places we brainstormed so far:
Fleur de Sel
Cafe des Artistes
Would love any feedback and further suggestions. Thanks so much everyone.
