Acme Panetone

I am an LA hound who lurks the SF board anytime I am planning a trip to your lovely city....Having heard so much about Acme bread on this board we had to try some, and wound up getting a Walnut loaf and a Panetone...
the walnut was very good, and nice because it is so dense, it can be sliced very thin to serve with cheese...yum.
However, the panetone really was outstanding, really wonderful with bright fresh flavorings, including true angelica and a slight amount of fennel seed...wow.
