I am buying a new 30” range and all of the pro-style ranges have much smaller ovens than those of the less expensive (GE Cafe/Electrolux) free-standing ranges. I am looking at one that is 4.2 cubic feet. While I don’t bake very often, I do braise a good bit (I have a 9.5 qt LC dutch oven), and we always are in charge of the Thanksgiving turkey. Is 4.2 cubic feet REALLY small? Will an 18-20 lb turkey fit in there? I didn’t think to look closely enough when we were at the store, and would like some input before I go back down there.
