Help 2 bostonians coming to NYC for a long weekend

Hi, advice would be appreciated for two Bostonians coming to NYC for a well-deserved long weekend of indulgence. Two dinners, three lunches. For lunch, we have to go to Grand Central Oyster Bar one day for sentimental reasons. One other will be in Chinatown, the other near either Moma or Met - thinking possibly of the bar at The Modern. For dinner, I'm thinking Gramercy Tavern for a typical upscale NYC experience without blowing it out on the likes of Per Se or Masa. Would like other dinner to be the best of an ethnic cuisine not easily found in Boston - thinking Greek, Spanish, or Japanese.

So, what do you folks recommend for lunch in Chinatown? Is The Modern worth the cost? Anything else in the neighborhood that we should consider as an alternative?

For dinner, do you agree with GT? What about the ethnic options in Manahattan? If it matters, we'll be staying at the Inn at Irving Place. Price really not an object, just quality.

Thanks in advance.
