1ST ANNUAL DDC RIB ROAD TRIP!

Rich Pawlak | Sep 13, 2002 03:48 AM

Well, we surely should invite the Mid-Atlantic Chowhounds!

Here is the official invite, for all of you who have YET to add yourselves to the DDC mailing list, our first annual Chowhound/Dangerous Dining Club
RIB ROAD TRIP!!

Bring yer coolers of wine and beer (lagers, pale ales and porters, beer-wise, I think, and pinots, shiraz and zinfandels, wine-wise, I'll bet), and bring some folding chairs, as two of our destinations have limited seating.

We will meet at the STADIUM HILTON, 10th St and Packer Ave.,in Philadelphia, in the parking lot near the hotel entrance, near the sports complex in South Philadelphia, promptly at NOON! Arrive early to be on the safe side. We will DEPART at 12:15PM, cross the Walt Whitman Bridge and head SOUTH in our wacky BBQ Caravan (I will print up directions to avoid the inevitable straying Chowhound!Lots of good farm stands in this part of the world.....).

Let's try to consolidate vehicles if we can, and have a lovely drive to three great rib joints in Buena and Mizpah, NJ (profiled on Holly Moore's website, hollyeats.com, under the "Eating Philadelphia" category.

Well, here are the details, please remember, RSVPs by Sept 25 and NO LATER!

I'm hungry already.
