Grab some cheese, hold it up, snap a photograph: That’s the heart and soul of
CheeseOnTour.com. Like many sites of its ilk, there doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of nuance to the exercise: Collecting a massive pile of different cheeses held up by different people in different places appears to be the alpha and omega of the site.

It sports a mid-’90s design sensibility, randomly generated “cheese facts” (What do you call a cheese that isn’t yours…? Nacho Cheese!), and a breathtaking, globetrotting collection of cheese-driven shots. Everything from St. Peter’s Square in the Vatican to Zurich to Pisa to Odessa (Texas) to the Keflavik Airport in Iceland was in evidence during a recent visit to the site.

So if you’re a fan of good cheese, are curious about traveling abroad, and have 10 to 15 minutes to kill at work, the Intergods have smiled upon you.
