The mint julep is the official drink of the Kentucky Derby, but the classic combo of bourbon, mint, and a little sugar served over crushed ice is refreshing enough to enjoy all summer long.   1. 1Muddle 12 to 20 mint leaves with simple syrup or sugar in a silver julep cup, then pour in bourbon.
