Ingredients (4)

  • 1 lb. bratwurst sausage, cut into 4 even pieces
  • 2 bottles Blue Moon
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled and whole
  • 1 tsp. whole black peppercorns

Low and slow braising bratwursts in Blue Moon makes them tender and delicious. They are great served as a main dish or on your favorite bread or roll as a sandwich.


  1. 1Add all ingredients into medium saucepan with no lid and cook on medium low heat.
  2. 2Stir frequently after the first 30 minutes and do not use a lid as you want the liquid to evaporate and cook down to a syrupy rich goodness (use your judgement as to desired viscosity/thickness). This can take 60 to 90 minutes depending on type of cookware used and heat intensity.
  3. 3That’s it! You’re ready to serve these brats up and you’ll surely be blue when they are all gone!
