Just wanted to give a little support to an often neglected food. Wurst and it's relatives.
This weekend found me at the beer garden Zum Schneider at 7th street and Avenue C.
The food was very traditional bavarian and german and Clean.
Not the usual heavy heavy stuff that is served.
Sylvester makes all the wursts (sausages) himself.
People don't realize that this is a worth while kitchen.
We also had a schnitzel and a vegetarian plate.
It was all exceptional---even the bread.
Thought this was a good note for all Chowhounds.
And of course the beer was good, too.
