Yummy duck noodle soup at Thai Nakorn, San Bruno

Hubby and I were running all over South SF and environs on various shopping errands, when I started to get pretty hungry. We ended up at Thai Nakorn, which lists an assortment of about ten various noodle soups as specials.

Hubby and I both had duck noodle soup, yum! Good noodles (you have a choice of rice or egg noodles, we went with egg noodles), a really flavorful broth with a nice amount of red pepper kick, and juicy duck pieces complete with still crispy skin. This would be even better on a rainy day or to clear a head cold, but even with the nice weather it really hit the spot. $6.50 a bowl.

Quick, friendly service, pleasant surroundings. I've not tried the rest of the menu at Thai Nakorn (it has gotten good recs on the board, though I haven't seen any posts recently), but if the noodles are any indication, well worth coming back. Another good choice on a street with several of them, and also a good option near SFO.
