Yum Pak Boonk Krob at Sripraphai

Yum Pak Boonk Krob that's watercress salad in Thai - at least that's what they told me it was when I asked.

I had it at Sripraphai today after eyeing someone else's. Let me tell you it's the best. It's a special and not on the menu - I got mine "Thai Regular" to indicate spiciness - whatever that meant (?) - it came to me perfectly spicy for this Thai loving Gringo Starr. It's a killer yum with deep fried crispy watercress, shrimp, squid, chicken, red onions, and lots of other goodies, the sauce is tamarindy, limey, and peppery. It went perfectly with sticky rice and iced coffee.

It's the best thing I've had there in my 3 visits. I noticed another mention of it here but search doesn't bring it up (or a lot of other things - all 4-oh-4s) Google has it cached though;-). Any news on crispy pork and broccoli's status, that and shrimp paste rice? They're what I want to try next.
