After picking some wines at Stew Leonard's, we drove down to Yonkers Brewery in the Main St. area of downtown Yonkers. It was about 3 p.m. on a beautiful day and the surrounding restaurants looked like they were doing their share outdoors. We wanted a couple of brews and got a well-spaced table inside at the brewery. Our waitress was right there. She helped us pick Yonkers' house IPA named Ray's, and their newest that had just come available: 5th Anniversary DIPA. Fine choices. As for our nibble: a nice platter of their Spanish-style Patatas Bravas to share that was mildly spicy. www.yonkersbrewing.com
