i made reservations for yank sing this sat, but now i am having second thoughts because of all the negative reviews on this board and citysearch. melanie posted some positive things, so that is encouraging. but most here seem very down on ys. i can deal with high prices ( tho i don't like it), if the food is good. but i cannot accept paying alot for bad dim sum. should i consider harbor village?
one of the reasons i chose yank sing is because one of my friends is a vegetarian, and i was under the impression that they have the best vegetarian options for dim sum. is this true?
i apologize for bringing yank sing up again, but it is likely that i will only have one dim sum meal in san fran. so i would like it to be a good one.
btw, i am from chicago and i now live in the nj/ny area, so i have had a lot of dim sum in my life, as have the others in my group. so most of us will have high expectations.
so i am not asking you to make my decision for me, just tell me what you really think. it looks like the vegetarian issue may be the ultimate deciding factor, so any feedback on that would be greatly appreciated.
