Okay, y'all. I had the most unusual offering of my foodie life Wednesday at the mind blowing Sharon Hage's York Street. Have any of you ever even HEARD of Gooseneck Barnacles? Did you know that Barnacles were something you could even consider eating? I had no idea and I am from Cape Cod for goodness sake! They are like a two tone, brown to red worms sticking out of a nubly, semi soft, cone shaped shell. Kinda had the consistancy of a tender long neck clam neck. That night she pepared them with a lemony, buttery, herby sauce. Get there fast to taste these delectable little weirdos before it is too late! Also, if she is offering Any flavor of her Braised Beef Short Ribs. GET THEM! Insanely good.
