I took my wife to Legacy last night for her birthday and the food was superb. Owner Paul Guillemin is back in the kitchen, the previous chef having departed due to "creative differences." My wife's tuna tartare and pan-roasted seabass was nothing short of remarkable, as was my veal chop. The Vietnamese eggroll salad wasn't quite the same caliber, the wonton skin a bit gummy though the filling was delicious. Service was top-notch. Things were apparently a bit patchy under the previous chef but the place is excellent now. This is definitely one of the best fine dining restaurants in the South Bay.
