Wo Hing was a fantastic Cantonese restaurant located on Pell st in NYC Chinatown.
They have been gone for more than 10 years, I believe Jo's Ginger is in their old location
Wo Hing made the most incredible fried dumplings.
They were huge and pan fried on one side .
Crispy on one side, soft almost a steamed texture on the other.
They were drizzled with oyster sauce and served I believe 5 0r six on a large plate.
They were nothing like the soup dumplings that are all the rage these days.
Does anyone know of any other restaurant that serves dumplings that are anything like these classics from Wo Hing???
