I am planning a party for January and I desperately need menu help. Approximately 20 people are coming, and there are a number of legitimate dietary restrictions I need to consider. I usually try to make sure everyone is able to eat at least 70-75% of the food. Also, I try not to spend all my money or days in the kitchen beforehand.
So here are the restrictions:
- Dairy free
- Poultry only
- No alcohol in the food
- Gluten free
- No ginger
Also, personal preference: I hate mushrooms and capers.
My biggest concern is the main protein course. I can find enough appetizers and side dishes that ensures each person only has to avoid one or two. But finding a good chicken dish that meets ALL the requirements, is nice enough for a party, and scales well for 20 is where I'm running into issues.
Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.
