Wine Shopping at Old Cambria Marketplace (Shell Gas Station)

Now that we've put the nail in the coffin at Cayucos Gas Mini Mart, let me offer up another convenience store that might be worth a look. The folks at the Black Cat wine bar recommended the market at the Shell filling station to me for the best wine selection in Cambria. Even though it was late to stop by after dinner, I had to satisfy my curiosity. The actual name of the store is Old Cambria Marketplace. And, yes, indeed the store does have a small but well-chosen selection of fine producers from Paso Robles, Monterey County, Sta. Rita Hills, and other Central Coast regions, as shown in the photos below. Worth a look when you're in town.
