All-- I've read the postings about Wegman's Chinese v. Full Kee, and I have to agree Wegman's is better for the "standard" Chinese dishes. I lived in upsate NY for 7+ years, and was spolied by Wegman's. Here's the reason-- the area of upstate NY where Wegman's hails from has a high concentration of unusually good Chinese restaurants/take-out. Wegman's does a significant amount of research into every product they offer, and its known they have drawn heavily from this community and its recipes with regard to the Chinese food. Consequently, its no surprise that Wegman's is found to surpass Full Kee, which, by the way, isn't all that great. On average, the chinese food is DC is sub-par. With one exception (Joe's Noodle House in Rockville), you're better off with the Thai and Malaysian in the DC area!
