I need a wedding rehearsal dinnner spot. We have 20 people and the budget is $100pp. We don't want open bar, so we'd like to keep it to that budget including alcohol (probably not a whole lot of drinking going on either way)
We do need a completely private room. It is for a Korean couple, and there is a "paebaek ceremony" which is a cultural thing that requires its own space within the private room. See the attached photo of what this ceremony setup looks like here or you can go here (http://wiki.weddingbee.com/Paebaek)
Since we are doing this ceremony, it might make sense to do it at an Asian restaurant so that the vibe is more in tune with what we are doing. But this is not a requirement.
I've already looked into Woo Lae Oak, EN Japanese Brasserie, Bann and Chom Chom. I think EN is a good spot. Bann is apparently not a good option for completely private. Chom Chom has gotten absolutely terrible reviews on Yelp so I think that I am going to cross that off the list. And Woo Lae Oak might be a decent option but after talking to manager, I have to go and see for myself since I haven't been there since they opened and I don't remember the layout very well.
We also need to do this on a Saturday night, which makes it even tougher since booking private for a group of this size isn't exactly ideal for most restaurants, so I understand with our budget that we won't be going anywhere that will blow our minds with the food. It would be nice if the restaurant was in an area that isn't a mind fuck for parking, since there will be out of towners with us.
Thanks for the help in advance.
