Water in My Chopper Attachment (Immersion Blender)

I've seen this is a common issue, and have endlessly searched, to no avail, for a solution.

I have a Kitchenaid Immersion Blender that comes with a chopper attachment (a plastic container with a blade inside and a top/adapter that one would use the motor of the blender to chop things similar to a food processor).

My issue is with the top/adapter piece of the chopper. It has water inside and I can't find any instructions on how to either disassemble the piece to release the water, or to somehow drain the water another way.

Does anyone know how I can do this, or where I can find instructions? I've posted photos of the piece I'm referring to.
