Your Waffle Iron--Use It!

So much of and about cooking involves arbitrary mental barriers. Many tools we think are good for only one thing, and often that they're the *only* way to do something. Williams-Sonoma's stock goes up (and our bank accounts go down) as a result.

Gosh, I can really roast in my gratin or a skillet? I can bake bread in a saucepan? All I need to broil a steak is a charcoal chimney and 2 skewers? Duh, who woulda thunk it?
